Another Father’s day to come and here I am at 12 midnight writing a letter that you will never have a chance to read anymore. I was walking in the mall a while ago and Father’s day greeting were everywhere. People are buying gifts too. Pa, how can I send you my father’s day card anymore along with this letter? Can I leave it in your coffin instead?
I remembered when I was young and you are bound for Taiwan after 2 weeks vacation here in Manila. I always insert a letter into your luggage and bidding you goodbye and how another 6 months would pass without you.Pa, today there will be no more 2 weeks vacation to spend here. I am not going to write letters anymore. It has been 2years now since you left. I really miss you. I hope you are still here to help me with my life issues. I hope that we could still exchange letters and text messages or visit places in Taiwan.
Your memories will always be with me. I might find a Prince to love and hold but you will always be my King. I love you, Papa! Happy father’s day! You and Nanay will be God’s best gift ever for me and I will always take care of Nanay no matter how hard it takes.jen
