I recently read this blog about Brand Management with no intention at all. You see if one person, a customer, experience bad things about your brand. He can simple tweet, share and post in reviewer site about it or post something on facebook and his community of friends can read about it and share his bad experience. In this age where internet is so fast as travelling. Oh boy! expect a domino effect! How could you protect your reputation?
Me, as a customer I always search the internet for reviews and feedbacks of a certain company before I get their services. So, from this I am sure that the brand I am taking know how to handle good customers and I will RECOMMEND them as well. Good Customer Experience is a must.
Bad management sucks I know as the people who encouter this bad experience will tweet everything he experience and his friends and friends would know how bad this brand is. How would you think a customer who have bad experience with this brand apologize to you? and to bring back lost reputation.
In order to protect your brand, you have to monitor the people working for you. The people who serve within the company makes the company. If the person make a fool of your brand and somebody hates what this person did to him. Sorry but your reputation is truly at risk.
Great service equals positive experience which in turn creates positive associations with the brand.
